How does UVC LED Sterilization Work?

UVC light is germicidal, therefore, it deactivates the DNA of bacteria, virus and other pathogens, destroying their ability to multiply and cause disease. Stepping on to the Hanz™ Trax Pro exposes your shoe soles to UV-C Light for up to 8 seconds.

UV disinfection does not rely on chemicals or filtration materials and can be manufactured to operate at the optimum wavelength for effective and safe application. 

While all micro-organisms respond to UVC light in different ways, if given the appropriate dose, which is the product of UVC power multiplied by time, it can kill 99.99% of micro-organisms.
